House MD, Season 6, Episode 7, Teamwork

Warning: Spoilers and summary of House MD, Season 6, Episode 7, Teamwork

After a porn star faints on the set, he is taken to a hospital. His wife is also a pornographic actress, and the husband praises his job as if he were a saint. Of course this ticks off a couple members of the diagnostics team, but House seems focused on another subject all together. (You can watch the episode at HouseMDEpisodesOnline.)

House wants his team back. Chase and Cameron declare they are leaving, after she forgave him for Dibala. So instead of hiring new members, he uses Foreman to bring back Chase and Cameron, and then approaches Thirteen and Taub separately, teasing them with information about the case.

In the end, the patient was raised in a too clean environment, so his body developed worms in his liver to protect his immune system. Cameron decides that House corrupted Chase’s ethics and leaves. Thirteen and Taub return, making the team Foreman, Chase, Taub, and Thirteen.

A Break in the Hippocratic Oath

When a doctor receives his license, he vows to follow the Hippocratic Oath. This means that a doctor will do no wrong, harm no person. But in “The Tyrant” of House MD Season 6, Chase breaks that oath. He is faced with curing an African dictator who was committing genocide on a minority of his country. When Chase and Cameron talk about possible diagnoses, he says that he can get the blood to prove something. That blood was taken from a patient in the morgue, leading to misdiagnoses and ultimately the death of Dibala the Dictator.

This action leads to a rift within his marriage to Dr. Cameron. In the episode “Teamwork,” Cameron decides to leave the diagnostics team and her husband, Chase. The murder is no longer suspicious but not only did he murder someone, he caused his wife to leave him.

What Did House To Do Make Cameron Leave?

Dr Gregory House has always been known to push people. Constantly, he looks for the truth behind things, and often becomes pushy, controlling, and manipulative in his conquest. He usually blurs the lines between good and bad, believing that the end justifies the means.

In the episode “Teamwork,” Cameron points out House’s fault in the murder of Dibala. She claims that because of his problem, he altered the way the rest of his team thought. No one knew the different between good and bad; instead, they just focused on the outcome.

House wanted 4/4 of his team to return to Princeton Plainsboro, but only Taub, Thirteen, and Chase will stay with Foreman and House. Because of House, Cameron left.

House's Team

House's team has changed a lot since the first season. Currently the team consists of Thirteen, Taub, Foreman, and Chase. Cameron leaves the team because Chase doesn't feel any remorse for killing a patient and because House has corrupted the team.

Jennifer Morrison/Allison Cameron Left House MD

Since Season 1 of House MD, the audience was always given two females to watch in a world of male doctors and female nurses: Dr. Lisa Cuddy and Dr. Allison Cameron. In Season 4, we were given a third while Dr. Cameron worked in the ER, Dr. Hadley “Thirteen” Remy.

As of Season 6, Episode 7, “Teamwork”, Cameron has left House MD. Years ago, Jesse Spencer and Jennifer Morrison, the actors of Chase and Cameron, were engaged to be married, but broke off the engagement, and this has nothing to do with her reasons for leaving now. Has she just been around too long? Has Morrison tired of House MD? Or was this a call from the writers?

Will Morrison ever return as our favorite brunette-gone-blond? It looks like our low-cut blouse Cuddy and bi-sexual Huntington’s Thirteen will be our main women on this mysterious show.

Why did Thirteen Leave and Come Back?

Remy "Thirteen" Hadley is a fictional character on House MD played by Olivia Wilde. She was originally part of the new diagnostics that Dr. Gregory House after the old team was disassembled at the end of season 3. Her nickname Thirteen was created in "The Right Stuff" when she was assigned a number during the competition for a spot on the new diagnostics team at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital.
In episode five of the fifth season, Thirteen exhibits self-destructive behavior because of her Huntington's disease and House fires her because of her reckless behavior. He later rehires her to use see if she would grow close to a patient with a terminal disease.
When Foreman became her boss, they couldn't agree on how to treat the patients. He wouldn't accept her suggestions for the treatments of patients so she went behind his back. By the sixth season, Thirteen buys a one-way ticket to Thailand, leaving Princeton-Plainsboro. Thirteen eventually returns and re-joins House's team (after House's medical license is reinstated) that consists of Taub, Chase, and Foreman.

Why Did Dr. Allison Cameron Leave House MD?

I’ve been watching House MD since season 1 and grew to love Dr. Allison Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) since the very first episode. Kind-hearted, seeing the world in black and white, and compassionate, it was easy to grow attached to her.

In Season 5, Cameron and Chase were married. We thought this relationship would last forever but it seems that House MD is trying to surprise us: she left! In her opinion, Chase made the decision to murder Dibala in “The Tyrant” based upon the changes House caused in his diagnostics team. She said that House corrupted their moral codes, until they no longer knew the difference between right or wrong.

Who knows if we will ever see our brunette-gone-blond cutie again. Maybe we will have to just be happy with our sexy bi-sexual Thirteen.

The Cast: Dr. Chase, Dr. Foreman, and Dr. Wilson

Dr. Robert Chase is played by Jesse Spencer. He is an Australian doctor on the diagnostics team and married Dr. Allison Cameron (Jennifer Morrison). In Season 6, Cameron left him and the team after a moral dilemma. He was a rich boy who grew up hating his father, but is usually considered the nice pretty boy of the team.

Omar Epps plays Dr. Eric Foreman, an original team member from season 1. He grew up in the ghetto and has a record for Grand Theft Auto. House hired him because of his "street smarts" and Foreman even was the head of the diagnostics team when House was in the mental hospital. Thirteen broke up with Foreman in the beginning of Season 6 but in "Teamwork," she returned to Foreman and the team.

Dr. James Wilson, played by Robert Sean Leonard, is House's best friend from college. He is the only one who stands by House in the thick and thin, the one who constantly pushes House until he comes up with a diagnosis. He's basically the sidekick, Holmes to Sherlock (which is considered an underlying theme of House MD). In Season 4, his girlfriend, Amber, died in a bus accident.

The Cast: Dr Gregory House, Dr. Remy "Thirteen" Hadley, and Dr. Lisa Cuddy

Dr. Gregory House, the main character of House MD, is played by British actor Hugh Laurie. He speaks with an American accent on the TV show and uses his drive for truth as his motivation towards solving his cases. Unafraid to break the rules, this doctor limped his way into our hearts.

Dr. Remy Hadley, aka Thirteen, has been a member of the House MD cast since season 4. A wild bi-sexual, she acts out in order to control her fear of the disease she was diagnosed with: Huntington's. She has a straight relationship with Dr. Eric Foreman, is smart, cuts to the chase, and grew up on the streets.

Lisa Edelstein plays Dr. Lisa Cuddy, the Dean of Medicine at the Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. She adopted a baby in Season 5, named Joy, and is the constant romantic fantasy of our favorite Dr. House. Although they knew each other in college, their relationship was never given the chance -- either House was too emotionally damaged or she has been in a relationship.
